S3 E10: Christian “CK” on Shitcoins and Sovereignty

Are shitcoins just a convenient smokescreen which keeps governments and regulated distracted from Bitcoin? This has to be the most memorable and controversial part of this season 3 finale with Christian (@ck_SNARKs on Twitter).

The POV Crypto Podcast co-host also expresses some ideas which he read in James Dale Davidson’s “The Sovereign Individual” and perpetually reminds everyone that we are in the middle of the hyperbitcoinization process: it’s not something that will just happen someday, but a marathon which we’re all running and whose starting gun has been shot by Satoshi Nakamoto in 2009.

Listen to this unique 90-minute discussion and think again about the purpose of shitcoins: are they risky investments that newbies should avoid at all costs? Definitely! Do they deserve to get liquidity in their experimental and mostly dishonest marketing-based state? Clearly not! But are they successful mechanisms to keep the media and the governments busy while Bitcoin is blossoming? Well, they might just be.

If Ross was to receive clemency or at least a second trial with another judge by taking into account the new evidence, the decision would get noticed by judges and politicians worldwide. Whether we like it or not, the USA is an example for the rest of the world and we can actually try to make a difference in a positive sense.
